WELCOME! I HOPE YOU DECIDE TO JOIN US IN THIS 10-WEEK ADVENTURE.Obviously, I want this to be a fun experience for all who participate. I've tried to include all the information you will need, but if I've forgotten something, please email me with your questions or concerns. Questions? Concerns? Email me! If you're a hiker, please join us. If you've already hiked to the summits of all the peaks, join us! I'd bet you haven't done all 3 in 3 consecutive weekends, so you'll be doing something you've never done before. If you're a novice hiker, or even if you've never done any real "hikes" before, please join us. One of my main motivations for organizing these hikes is to get people who wouldn't normally do something like this to do it. My goal is to get each one of you to do the best you can, and go as far as you can. If you don't make it to a summit, but get half way, I bet that's farther than you're thinking you could go right now. If you come to all the training hikes, I know you will be surprised at how far you can really go. If you're not sure whether to do this or not, STOP thinking and just do it. I KNOW you will NOT regret it when it's over. All your friends and family members are welcome, so drag them with you, and they will thank you afterwards. If you really, really hate it, I'll give you your money back. (That's a joke because it doesn't cost anything to participate) For all of these hikes we will be the "3 peaks in 3 weeks group", but that doesn't mean we are tied together. Anyone who wants to walk/hike longer distances or faster than the group pace, or go a shorter distance with a slower pace is welcome to do so. If you need to slow down, or turn around and go back because of physical or time concerns, feel free to do so. It's funner if everyone meets and at least starts at the same time, but after that, do whatever you would like, or need to do.
